You were a star shining in the dark, leading the way

You were the sun shedding light on all things you touched

You were the wind ushering in change, moving mountains

You were the earth supporting all living things by standing firm

You were the rain that washed away thirst and nourished life

You were the ocean teaming with life of all forms

You are these things and more …

You are a leader, the light, the force of the wind,

the rain that nourishes,

The One Spirit that contains all possibilities

if you stand firm and support

all the things you know

to be true
